One of the first harbingers of autumn. Autumn or Burgundy truffles grow mainly in Italy, France and also Switzerland. When ripe, the truffles with their irregular skin are beige to light brown on the inside with fine veins. TIP: Flavor your dish with truffle butter and grate the fresh truffle over the finished dish
