"The veal comes from five to a maximum of eight months old female or male animals. It is very fine-fibred and low in fat and therefore easy to digest and wholesome. The high-quality pink to reddish Swiss veal is not only tender and juicy, but also has a unique taste. Pieces from the forequarters are ideal for stewing, the even more precious pieces from the hindquarters for pan frying.
A piece of Switzerland < /strong>
In the grasslands of Switzerland, many family farms transform natural resources into valuable food, care for our landscape and ensure healthy biodiversity.
Species-appropriate husbandry
An animal-friendly livestock husbandry has a high priority in Switzerland and is protected by law. 80% of livestock farmers voluntarily adhere to even stricter standards.
Natural feeding
Environmentally friendly and exclusively GMO-free feed is used for feeding livestock. 85% of them come from Switzerland. Hormones and antibiotics as performance enhancers are forbidden.
Pet friendly transportation
Switzerland has the strictest animal transport law in the world. This means less stress for the animals and therefore better meat quality.
A safe food
Swiss meat deserves your trust. The products can be traced back to the farm, Switzerland is considered largely disease-free and strict laws ensure safe meat production at all levels."
