How to Properly Thaw my Meat?
Keep the meat in its original packaging, if possible. Place it on a plate or in a container in the refrigerator at no more than 5°C / 41°F. Depending on the cut, thawing takes 8 to 24 hours.
Can I portion a whole piece of meat myself and freeze it?
Yes, absolutely. Simply cut the piece into your desired portion sizes and vacuum-seal each portion individually, this is the best way to protect the meat from freezer burn and keep it tender.
