Finest Pulled BBQ Jackfruit with a wonderful BBQ taste. A vegan alternative to the BBQ classic pulled pork. Our Pulled Jackfruit is homemade and seasoned with a special vegan BBQ sauce. 

Jackfruit, also called Jackfrucht in Switzerland, can be shortly described by such words: green, food trend, delicious, young, meat substitute, vegan and maybe your new favourite recipe. Jackfruit as pulled pork has already stirred up food bloggers with a lot of enthusiasm and now word is getting around that Jackfruit is an innovation and a good ingredient for conscious nutrition.

Its fibrous texture is very similar to that of chicken and pork and is therefore often used as a meat substitute in vegan dishes.  We at Maximus BBQ use it to prepare our authentic Texas Style Pulled BBQ Jackfruit.  Our Pulled BBQ Jackfruit is an authentic vegan alternative to the classic pulled pork, which is made from pork. It is perfect for burgers, tacos, wraps or eating "straight from the plate" without any additional ingredients.

 

Ingredients:
Jackfruit: Spices (paprika, fresh onion, tomato, fresh garlic), sea salt, cane sugar, herbs (oregano), liquid smoke.

BBQ Sauce: fructose syrup, brandy vinegar (corn), tomato paste, modified starch, salt, pineapple juice concentrate, natural smoke flavoring, spice mix (celery, mustard), coloring: caramel, preservative, sodium benzoate, molasses, glucose syrup, garlic powder, sugar, tamarind , natural flavourings, apple juice

NOTE: The product is frozen to preserve flavor and nutrients. The product is thawed when it is delivered and you can eat it wonderfully, but it must not be frozen again!

Can be kept for 2 weeks after thawing at 5 degrees.

 

 

Preparation:

  • Cook the closed bag in a water bath at 70 degrees for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Take the pulled Jackfruit out of the bag and pluck it apart with two forks
