All KAGfreiland products come exclusively from Switzerland. Farmers can only obtain KAGfreiland certification if they are already Bio Suisse certified. Those who achieve the KAGfreiland standard meet significantly stricter requirements for animal husbandry. This means that animals are given exercise every day, that they are kept in groups and must remain intact. For example, cows must not be dehorned. In addition, all animals are fed with organic feed and may be transported for a maximum of two hours.
